European-Art.net

The meta-database European-art.net brings together various European contemporary art archives and their digital databases. It gives information about the collections, archives, artists and exhibitions of each institution, providing search results from participating databases via a sophisticated search template. European-art.net was founded through the co-operation of “basis wien – Kunst, Information und Archiv” and “Kunstbulletin” from Zürich in the context of the project "Vektor - European Contemporary Art Archives", which took place between 2000 and 2003 with support from the European Commission as part of “Kultur 2000”. The online database of the Centre for Artists’ Publications has belonged to this network since 2014.
