The Weserburg is located between the two arms of the Weser on a holm, the so-called Teerhof. It takes only several minutes to walk from downtown Bremen through the historical Old Town to the museum.

There are several bus and streetcar lines that go directly to the Weserburg from the main train station. Bus lines 26 and 27 as well as streetcar line 1 leave from the station’s front entrance. You only need to go two stations before reaching the stop Am Brill. From there it is only several meters across the Bürgermeister-Smidt-Brücke to the museum.
