Your Way to the Weserburg

The Weserburg is located between the two arms of the Weser on a holm, the so-called Teerhof. It takes only several minutes to walk from downtown Bremen through the historical Old Town to the museum.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Thursday 10:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Closed on Monday

 

The museum is closed on Good Friday, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. It is open from 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. on all other holidays.

Adults: EUR 8.00
Reduced: EUR 5.00
Families (2 adults + children younger than 18 years of age): EUR 14.00
Groups (15 or more persons): EUR 5.00 per person
Classes: EUR 1.50 per student (students from Bremen EUR 1.00)
Guided public tour: EUR 3.00 plus admission  
Guided group tours: EUR 80.00 plus admission (The number of participants is limited to 25.)
Guided tour for students: EUR 40 per hour
Free admission: Members of the Friends of the Museum, children six and under
Reduced admission: children younger than 18 years of age, college students, soldiers, people performing alternative service, the unemployed, the severely disabled

Combination Ticket with the GAK | Gesellschaft für Aktuelle Kunst

In cooperation with the GAK | Gesellschaft für Aktuelle Kunst, the Weserburg offers a reasonably priced combination ticket. The two institutions are housed in the same building. Recent developments in contemporary art have been presented here in alternating exhibitions since 1980. Additional information is available at www.gak-bremen.de

Barrier-Free Access

The museum's exhibition areas are accessible to people with walking disabilities. Disabled parking is available on the forecourt. If required, a wheelchair can be borrowed at the cash desk. There is a bathroom with wheelchair access in the building.
